What is Great Northern Viking Festival?
The Great Northern Viking Festival is a family friendly celebration in Mankato, Minnesota*, honoring rich Old Norse & Viking heritage. Our mission is to immerse attendees in the Viking era through exhilarating entertainment, education, and immersive experiences. Join us for a unique blend of festival fun mixed with historical exploration, where the past meets the present in a thrilling interactive and entertaining atmosphere.

Accommodations
If you're traveling to Great Northern Viking Festival Festival 2024 from out of town, we have a variety of accommodation options available. From hotels to camping, we've got you covered. Onsite tent camping is available for purchase. Camping reservations open August 29th. On-site tent camping is only available to A Night in Valhalla VIP's (Saturday Night only) and Combo Weekend Pass holders (Weekend options available).
